If you're curious about the origin of my new brand, Chunchy Co. Studio, and the meaning behind its name, you're in the right place. The term "chunchy / chunch / chunched" has deep roots in my family, going back at least four generations. It's a cherished word that my mother’s mother used as a little girl to affectionately describe snuggling up and feeling warm and cozy. This word carries a lot of personal significance and emotions for me. I have fond memories of my loving dad asking me to come "chunch" with him on the couch to watch TV when I was younger. The word evokes a strong sense of warmth and happiness, hitting me right in the heart. Now, this special term has come full circle, with both of my children using it as well. It’s a unique and treasured part of our family, and I have no doubt it will continue to be passed down through future generations.
